The Enterprise Wood Products Story
Our History
Steve Ory, founder and owner of Enterprise Wood Products, originally developed his knowledge and passion for wood products as a logger. As his business evolved from logging, to owning a sawmill, Steve moved toward the next logical step, building a finished wood products plant.
In 1998, the one machine operation was moved from the original location in Enterprise, Wisconsin to Rhinelander. From that single molder in an unheated pole shed to the current plant in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, Steve has maintained the same desire to produce quality wood products from the finest local timber. Steve has transferred his enthusiasm for fine wood products to his sons, both of whom have recently returned home to participate in the family business.
Today, Enterprise Wood Products offers a wide variety of custom designed wood products including paneling, flooring, molding, mantels and furniture. In addition to the wood supplied by EWP’s own sawmill, they also offer reclaimed lumber from a variety of sources. Enterprise Wood Products will continue to offer a wide array of customized wood products that will enhance the beauty, richness, and history of your home or business.
